If you’re a fan of the Air Jordan 3 then you sure are in for a treat, as a brand-new colourway titled the AJ3 “Pine Green” has just been unveiled and it’s looking mega-clean! Decked out in hues that appear very visually similar to many Oregon Ducks PE (Player Exclusive) pairs, these will make the look way more affordable to sneakerheads that want the PE vibes. We’ve got a first look at the pair via reputable sneaker source hanzuying, so read on for more right here!
The Air Jordan 3 was first introduced by Nike all the way back in 1988 and was the first Air Jordan to be designed by legendary Nike employee Tinker Hatfield. After the AJ2 launched, rumour has it that Michael Jordan was unimpressed with the design and ready to leave the Swoosh, however Hatfield convinced him to stay with the groundbreaking AJ3.
Crafted from a range of different fabrics including suede, leather and mesh, the uppers are primarily black, however white accents and hits of pine green create a perfectly formed combination. Jumpman branding is present at both the tongues and heel tabs, while a classic lacing system ensures that this pair is kept firmly on feet. The look is finished off with plenty of padding around the ankles and a perforated forefoot for airflow.
This all sits on top of a white and green midsole with a visible Nike Air unit contained under the heel for optimum comfort. If you’re liking the look of this upcoming release then you’ll have to sit tight a little longer just yet, as the Air Jordan 3 “Pine Green” is yet to receive an official release date.
