Patta x Nike Air Max 90 'Wave' Dropping in Two Colours This Month

Updated 5th June, 2025: It’s been over seven months since we first caught a glimpse of the Patta x Nike Air Max 90 “Waves” with those striking “Sapphire” blue hits. Now, a second colourway has emerged, and it's a real head turner.

We got our first proper look at this "Cyber" colourway on the feet of Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck during his performance at City Splash in London. He truly showed off the bold neon-accented sneaker in action, giving us all an early preview. Patta has confirmed that this Air Max 90 will drop 23rd June, accompanied by a matching clothing collection with raffles now live on Sevenstore.

This release follows the same pattern as the Air Max 1 Wave pack from 2021. The Air Max 90 further solidifies Patta's ongoing collaboration with Nike.

Original article: Dutch streetwear icon Patta is set to keep the good times rolling with another legendary Nike Air Max collaboration, the Air Max 90 Wave. The buzz first hit the streets via Bubble Koppe's Instagram page on Oct. 2. Patta co-founder Edson Sabajo, likely in response to the leak, has now dropped an early on-feet shot of the Patta x Nike Air Max 90 'Wave'.

Patta’s unique take on the Air Max 90 features a wavy line created by warping the leather mudguard on the retro upper. The design is reminiscent of Patta’s previous Air Max 1 ‘Wave’ collabs from 2021 and 2022 that we all loved.

While Sabajo has kept quiet regarding any further details, the rest of the Patta team has not spilled the beans either. Given how the usual process goes we can assume that the leak from Bubble Koppe suggests we should see the Air Max 90 Wave hit shelves in the following months to come.

Patta has a killer lineup when it comes to Air Max designs, including the Air Max 1 and a recent Air Max Plus that got everyone talking. It's been a number of years since we've seen the dutch brand take on the AM90 silhouette, with a number of 90 heads eager to get their hands on this project.
