Peep an Official Look at the Nike SB Dunk Low "Be True"

Nike’s Dunk silhouette still seems to be the shoe of the moment, with a couple of special-edition versions of the shoe in the pipeline for the rest 2022. Amongst them are a couple of Nike SB versions, including this Pride-themed Nike SB Dunk Low “Be True,” which forms part of Nike's “Be True” series.

The SB Dunk typically feature a couple of differences to the lifestyle model, including a pillowy padded tongue, added cushioning underfoot and puffier laces, which are designed to make the pairs more suitable for skating. Overall though, they don’t appear too different, and SB Dunks are still a popular choice for those looking to build out their collection.

The “Be True” SB Dunks are definitely a pair to consider adding to your sneaker shelves, featuring appropriate rainbow-coloured detailing across a white upper. It appears that the uppers could even be UV-sensitive or have wear-away detailing, and more images have shown brightly coloured panels to be revealed underneath. There’s still plenty of colour to be found across the Nike Dunk SB “Be True” though; mismatched heel tabs come in green and purple, whilst blue stitching pops against the white upper.

Rainbow shades then appear on the tongue tab, as well as the ‘Be True’ wordmark on the side of the sneakers. Pink and blue laces tie the pair together (although we’d imagine the pair will come with a few sets of coloured laces) and the tongues house a zip pocket. This all sits atop a crisp, white midsole which provides the SB Dunk “Be True” with a fresh finish.
