What a year 2016 was for fashion, and even more specifically, Ye’s Yeezy brand. It was a year that saw the 350 V2 take over the sneaker scene, and with that came some seriously sought-after colourways. One of those was the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Black Red,” which originally released later that year alongside the infamous “Black Friday Pack.” Now, set to join the “Oreo” and “Sesame” variations for a restock, let’s take a look at what we can expect to see again later this year.
The “Black Red” or “Red Stripe” Yeezy Boost 350 V2 sees the Primeknit upper take on a stealthy black base, whilst the signature SPLY-350 sweeps across the sidewalls in a bright red shade. The silhouette ditches the usual pull-tab for a more streamlined shape.
Below, the shoe features full-length adidas cushioning for supreme comfort, and this comes encased in a blacked-out ribbed sole. Unlike some of the most recent Yeezys to date, the “Black Red” 350 will reportedly stay true to its original makeup, and not feature any recycled materials in the upper.
The “Red Stripe” adidas Yeezy 350 V2 is set to drop in the next couple of months, so for now enjoy these in-hand images and keep it locked for more restock info as it comes in.
