Peep An Early Look at Mr. Bailey's Latest adidas Originals "OZLUCENT" Concept

In a world filled with (let’s face it, pretty drab) sneaker collabs, adidas’ work with Mr. Bailey is a breath of fresh air. Having teamed up with the CONCEPTKICKS founder a couple of times already, the duo look set to return with a third shoe.

The new concept follows suit from the OZLUCENT and OZMORPHIS styles, by taking design cues from nature - or sea creatures in particular. The previous pairs channelled the lifecycle of these creatures, with each part of the design referencing a different stage, but right now the story behind the new pair has not been confirmed. What is clear though is that the new “Internal Organisms” concept is a slightly more minimalist approach to the collaboration, and sees Mr. Bailey strip things back to just the inner workings of the sneaker - removing the shroud to expose zipped neoprene offers underneath. Underfoot, the arched midsole unit remains, becoming a signature motif within the OZLUCENT collection.
