Whilst we’ve seen a lot of talk about the Air Force 1s 40th anniversary this year, any mention of the iconic Air Max 1’s 35th birthday seems to have flown a little bit under the radar. That could all change though as we enter Air Max Month, as more and more special-edition AM1s seem to be appearing almost on a daily basis. The latest pair to hit the web is the Air Max 1 “Treeline,” so let’s take a closer look.
Starting off with a beige and tan leather and mesh base, the “Treeline” Air Max 1s see hairy green suede overlays wrap around the mudguards and heels, whilst the classic Nike Swoosh sweeps across the side walls in vibrant purple. The same purple shade jazzes up the tongue tab branding, whilst polka dot-print green laces tie the pairs together. A crisp white midsole with visible AM1 Air unit sits atop a black rubber outsole for a super-clean finish.
Right now, it’s unclear when the Nike Air Max 1 “Treeline” will be dropping, but we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for an Air Max Month release.
