By the look of things, it wasn't just NIGO who was making waves at the KENZO FW22 runway show in Paris. Amongst a star-studded attendance of creatives, musicians and actors, Pharrell Williams managed to garner the attention of many due to his diamond-encrusted specs. Since this point, it has been revealed Pharrell Williams x Tiffany & Co. are set to collaborate.
The specs themselves arrive with an almond-shaped frame accentuated by a frontal diamond-encrusted edge. In addition, the lenses feature a reflective black tone that doesn't seem to offer any translucent properties.
When speaking to WWD outside the event, Pharrell said, "You know, Tiffany and I are engaged", "It's the first of many things I'm going to do with Tiffany", and "It's about seeing things differently." Given the certainty within these statements, one could imagine Pharrell and Tiffany & Co. might be in it for the long run with this collaborative collection. However, it wouldn't be the first time Pharrell has dipped his hand in the jewellery world as he has previously collaborated with Louis Vuitton for a range back in 2008.
