A fresh look at the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Bred Toe” has been unveiled, offering an exciting twist on one of Michael Jordan’s most iconic silhouettes. The original colourways of Jordan’s inaugural signature sneaker have always held a special place in sneaker lore, and in 2025, their influence feels stronger than ever. While all eyes this year have been glued to the classic Air Jordan 1 “Bred,” the Jumpman brand has been busy flexing its creative muscles, proving it can remix its legendary designs like a DJ at a block party.
Although not officially labelled as part of the “Reimagined” series, this release carries the same forward thinking energy.
Known for its annual “Satin” series, Jordan Brand ventures into new territory with this iteration, merging innovative materials with classic colour blocking. Instead of traditional cracked leather seen in previous designs, metallic foil creates a striking “lava like” texture on the forefoot, collar, and heel panels. Adding to its high end feel, the iconic Wings logo is embossed on the collar with a matte finish and tactile plastic detailing.
The overall black and red colour scheme closely mirrors the beloved 2018 “Bred Toe” release, with the layout remaining nearly identical. However, a key difference lies in the materials, along with the use of a bright white base instead of the off white tones found in the original pair.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Bred Toe” is officially dropping on May 22, 2025, in women’s sizing. Plus, you can also expect PS and TD sizes to be available!
