Ronnie Fieg is on fire right now. Hot off the back of dropping his three-way collab with Clarks and adidas, the KITH Creative Director has given sneaker fans a preview of his next project, which will see him rejoin forces with New Balance. Working on top of the 998 silhouette, Fieg has designed the pair in partnership with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, which explores the idea of better living through an architectural lens.
Paying homage to the foundation’s Broadacre City project - a project that provides families with an acre of land in order to establish a home and cultivate their own food - the pairs arrive in a mix of hairy and smooth suede, and come dressed in hues that reference both building materials and open land.
Dropping in two colourways, the “Broadacre City” KITH x Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation x NB998 will see a rollout that sees it drop at KITH’s Tokyo location on the 14th April, and then Frank Lloyd Wright’s on-site location in Arizona on the 15th. They will then be made available at KITH stores and online on the 17th of April.
Up next, NB teams up with AURALEE on the RC30.
