Salehe Bembury Teases His Next New Balance Collaboration

When it comes to New Balance collaborations, Salehe Bembury's are some of the best in the game. Following the release of the 2002R "Water Be The Guide" back in June, the American fashion designer is back at it again, this time with the hotly anticipated Salehe Bembury x New Balance 574 "Yurt".

Draped in nothing but the finest of materials, this special edition 574 works on top of a breathable mesh base while buttery smooth suede elegantly dresses the upper in a light grey makeup. While it's clear that this release isn't as vibrant as Bembury's other collabs, we definitely appreciate it especially over the Fall and Winter seasons ahead.

Around the heel you'll find a weird, whistle-like instrument that we have yet to identify, and down below, an extra chunky ABZORB SBS midsole is present for a crazy amount of comfort with every step. A "Salehe Bembury" tag is stitched on the lateral sidewall, and to round off the New Balance project, the ripstop tongue boasts a "YURT 574" tag that's finely stitched on, finalising the beautifully clean aesthetic.
