The second from his collaboration with Nike
Earlier this year, the most wanted and first of its kind was released. The Sean Wotherspoon x Nike Air Max 1/97. A collaboration between Sean Wotherspoon, who won the "Air Max Day"; sneaker design vote back in 2017, and Nike.
This wavy design was a multicoloured, corduroy hybrid sneaker and one that pretty much all sneakerheads wanted to get their hands on.
A few months ago a second colourway was teased (below) and now, a more recent photo has been unveiled by Sean (above). Will this be the first or second SW x Nike Air Max 1/97 you'll be trying to get into your rotation?

"There's a lot that's going to change!"; says Wotherspoon in his latest Instagram post, while asking his followers "what new patches should I include with this pair?!".
So far we are seeing a blue corduroy upper – giving off denim aesthetics, blue laces, the same cream midsole as the previous colourway and a few flashes of yellow through the silhouette. It's safe to say that this is not the final rendition but we're excited to see the way it's coming along.
Be sure to stay tuned to The Sole Womens website and social channels for all details as they emerge on this silhouette!
Check out @kickposters mock up below to see what he thinks the final piece will be looking like.
