Shooters Shoot, but Sometimes They Miss: NOCTA x Nike Basketball Feels a Tad Bland

After embracing the running wave in September, it would seem NOCTA x Nike are keen to offer more takes on the sporting side of things. Having been rumoured for several weeks, our first look at the duo's basketball collection is here, and by first appearances, it's not all that.

It's no secret that Drake's love for basketball extends far beyond the realms of his home basketball court, especially when he can often be spotted cheerleading from the sidelines at Raptor's games. But with that said, he didn't quite channel the same passion into this one.

The collection itself looks to be comprised of two jerseys, thermal tops, leggings, shorts, and a parka coat. A new rendition of the previously seen heat-map print graces a matching thermal set, this time mixing blue and sweat mark-like shades. Elsewhere, a plain black hue graces the alternative pieces, rounded off by a peculiar beige shade on the coat.

With NOCTA's footwear offerings seemingly getting stronger by the year, it almost feels like its apparel offerings are a tad lazy, which is a bit of a shame when you consider just how strong they've been in the past. Regardless of our thoughts, if NOCTA x Nike's latest collection is up your street, it is rumoured to be launching on the 11th of November.
