Any true fans of workwear turned streetwear icon Carhartt WIP will likely tell you the brand doesn't discriminate when it comes to collaborative efforts. Over the years, we've seen Carhartt WIP collaborate with the who's who of the fashion industry down to smaller-scale artists and creators, but this latest link-up seems to be a big one.
Early images have now emerged pointing towards a collaboration between Carhartt WIP and Marni, the luxury Italian fashion house known for its graphic rigour. There seems to be some kind of workwear focus going on in the upper echelons of fashion, as this new collaboration joins the likes of Dickies x Gucci in championing labour-made silhouettes.
In the images, we see a handful of new designs using Carhartt's famed workwear icons as their inspiration. Shirts, flared trousers, zip hoodies, jackets, totes, bucket hats and shoes are all featured, predominantly sporting a floral pattern made up of either black & yellow or white & green hues. Other pieces adopt a '70s patchwork style finish, made up of numerous shades of beige, brown and red. It's unknown when we're expected to see more from this collaboration, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled right here at The Sole Supplier. In other fashion news, Maharishi brings in the Lunar New Year.
