Simone Rocha just bedazzled the sh*t out of adidas for her debut collection.

Dare we say the creator of the sneakerina, Simone Rocha links up with adidas for an embellished collection of sneakers and apparel. The Irish London-based designer presents her debut adidas collection – which was teased at her AW26 show – inserting classic Three Stripes apparel and signature shoes into her world of hyperfeminine silhouettes.
The capsule reinterprets a Taekwondo Ballerina, a Japan Slip-On and Firebird pieces with Rocha’s avant-garde language, and introduces a new Climacool silhouette, reminiscent of Simone Rocha’s own line of shoes. The collection also features socks, a bag, hair clips, and a brooch.

“The first collection needed to feel very, very signature to myself and adidas,” said the designer in a British Vogue interview. She fused the two worlds of adidas and Simone Rocha with proportions: puffing up the sleeves, adding frills and converting adidas signature pieces into her own silhouettes – paying homage to her younger self who “used to wear adidas under her school skirt”.
As for the sneakers, Rocha customised the Taekwondo with ribbon laces and pearls, revamped the Climacool in her own way, and bedazzled a pony-hair Japan slip-on.
The debut Simone Rocha x adidas Originals collection drops at adidas.com and select retailers on September 9th.
