Nike is not messing around when it comes to upgrading its slide offering for the summer season, as it’s looked to expand its roster of styles for the months ahead. Last year, we saw the Swoosh introduce its Air More Uptempo Slide in a simple black and white colourway, but now the brand is set to introduce another iteration that takes inspiration from the classic basketball sneaker.

Arriving in an all-new blue gradient colour palette, the Air More Uptempo Slide incorporates the same graffiti-inspired bubbled branding that earned its sneaker counterpart its stripes. Positioned along the puffed-up strap, the AIR wordmark comes shadowed with tones that fade from purple to blue, while perforated details add a touch of practicality. Underfoot, the slide has been treated to a full-length Air Unit, taking all the comfort you’d expect from the slip-on style to a whole new level.
