Are you bored of Sambas yet? No? Good - because there’s another Samba collab on the way, and it’s all thanks to adidas and Palace. Not just content with putting out an UGG boot, the skateboard brand is hopping on another of this year’s top trends, albeit this time it’s a shoe that fits.
Given the Samba’s history within the world of skateboarding, this is definitely a move we can get behind. The indoor football sneaker pivoted from the pitch to the pipe in the ‘90s and early ‘00s, as its grippy sole unit provided the perfect amount of control and traction. Palace’s take on the shoe sees the model maintain its classic leather and suede upper, though the sole has been replaced with a Lucas Puig sole which gives them a slightly chunkier aesthetic.
Arriving in three colourways, the Palace x adidas Sambas feature gold-foiled Samba branding next to the classic 3-Stripes, as well as a Tri-Ferg at the tongue and Palace-branded soles. Look for these to drop soon, and stay locked to The Sole Supplier for more info as it comes in!
Up next, the Corteiz x Nike collab has officially been unveiled.
