Sporty & Rich Has More adidas Sambas On the Way

Emily Oberg’s Sporty & Rich has gone from strength to strength over the years, transforming from an Instagram mood board, to a wellness platform, to a fully-fledged brand. Just last year the brand joined forces with the 3-Stripes for a collaboration that encompassed a selection of apparel and sneaker silhouettes, and after becoming a sell-out success the duo is set to team up once again on the adidas Samba and an accompanying clothing collection.

Last season’s S&R Samba was easily the star of the line-up, so it's no surprise Oberg is back with some fresh new takes on the model. Arriving in three colourways that fit S&R’s distinctive aesthetic, the pairs arrive in premium leather builds, with soft suede panelling taking over the toe box.

The first pair comes in a creamy beige hue and features baby blue detailing, while the second colourway arrives almost in reverse, with blue tones saturating the shoe save for the Stripes, heel tab and laces. Finally, the model looks set to drop in a clean black and white colourway which doesn't stray too far from the Samba's original make-up, only this one sports S&R branding.

The clothing collection sees Oberg build on the first instalment by readying pieces in a bloke-ette-inspired aesthetic. Here, football jerseys have been given a more feminine, fitted touch, and are set to drop alongside v-neck sweaters, nylon shorts and branded tees.

The Sporty & Rich Sambas and clothing capsule are set to release on the 15th of June at adidas CONFIRMED, so be sure to set those release reminders nice and early for your best chance of copping a pair on the day.
