It’s great to see a brand put effort into a more sustainable offering, and Nike’s hugely successful Move to Zero initiative is set to continue with the Nike Air Force 1 Next Nature "White Pink." With the AF-1 being a staple shoe in our weekly rotation, having more sustainable models to choose from can make us feel a little better about buying so many pairs. This is one we’ll definitely be adding to our shelves, so let’s take a closer look at the official images.
The Next Nature AF1 "White Pink" sees the classic sneaker reimagined in at least 20% recycled materials and pretty pastel colours. On top, a white Nike Flyleather upper is accented with a peachy pink pastel Swoosh and light-yellow heel tabs, as well as embroidered flower and butterfly patches on the lateral heels that add an extra pop of personality to the playful springtime colourway.
Underfoot, the classic Air Force 1 sole gets a sustainable upgrade in Nike’s speckled Grind Rubber, and the sustainability movement is also highlighted by way of the Pinwheel logo on the shoe’s insoles. Tied together with white laces and yellow AF1 dubrae, this fair-weather pair is a must-have for Air Force 1 fans.
An official release date hasn’t yet been set by the brand, but if you’re looking to add the "White Pink" Next Nature Nike Air Force 1s to your rotation make sure to download our app, and we’ll be the first to let you know when they’re dropping.
In other news, Nike's run of sustainable Air Force continues with the Air Force 1 Crater "Light Bone."
