Stay Gorpy This Summer With the MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon XT-4 Mule

Though a partnership between MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon may have seemed odd at first, the duo certainly seems to have found its feet. Having gained Rihanna’s seal of approval at the Super Bowl this year, the duo has now teased its latest work of art, combining two of this year’s hottest trends into one must-have sneaker - the MM6 x Salomon XT-6 Mule.

Revealed in MM6’s 2024 Resort lookbook, the upcoming mules are set to arrive in three colours - a stealthy black pair, an earth-toned variant, and a more colourful combination of white, green and purple. Putting a new twist on the techy trail runner, the mules might not be as practical as the OG silhouette, but they certainly retain the same levels of comfort - with the added bonus of a little more airflow around the heel.

Elsewhere, the XT-4's detailing remains pretty much unchanged. Salomon’s signature Agile Chassis System adds support underfoot, while its Quicklace system allows you to adjust the fit of the slip-on style. Carbon coating covers the mesh uppers, while Contragrip outsoles provide extra traction. MM6 branding hits the toe area, while the throat gets done up with an XT-4 wordmark, just in case you didn’t spot the difference from that angle.
