Just in case you hadn't noticed, Y2K style is back, and leading the race is none other than Saucony. With a plethora of retro-tech styles in its archive, Saucony has repurposed its GRID technology which dates back to 1991, to deliver a new lease of life to its Pro Grid Omni 9 silhouette.
Inspired by the silhouette's original release in 2010, the SS23 version embodies the same running spirit of its predecessor, complete with an elevated approach to construction and technology. Two new metallic colourways have been produced, with opposing red and blue hues featured, respectively. These colours have each been backed up by an eye-catching mix of silver mesh textiles, delivering a past-meets-present method to styling.
Underfoot, a concave TPU sphere provides maximum stability and cushioning for the wearer, ensuring these shoes are as cosy as they are stylish. Additionally, crisscrossing strings from DuPont-sourced Hytrel lock your foot firmly into place, furthering the comfort factor. For those looking to get their hands on this model, both colourways are currently on Saucony's website and selling fast, so don't delay! In other footwear news, Stüssy's next sneaker is revealed as the Nike Vandal.
