It takes some serious effort to make a sneaker collab stand out these days, but sometimes, less is definitely more. For its latest joint project, renowned sneaker retailer Footpatrol has teamed up with Clarks Originals for a two-pair pack inspired by the serene setting of Japanese zen gardens - with tranquillity and reclusiveness laying the groundwork for the design.
Working on both the iconic Wallabee and the new Desert Trek Cup, the collab takes on neutral tones of grey and beige, and features embroidered circular patterns in line with its zen garden inspiration. Coming crafted from a mix of buttery soft and long nap Chewbacca suede, the pairs play with texture in a way that invites you to check in on your senses - one of the core elements behind practising mindfulness. From here, Footpatrol branding hits the lace fobs, and Clarks’ signature crepe sole units sit neatly underfoot.
Coupled with a campaign featuring none other than D Double E (you can watch the video below), the pack is guaranteed to transport you to a better place. If you’re looking to add either the Footpatrol x Clarks Originals Wallabee or Desert Trek Cup to your rotation, then be sure to hit the release reminders below ahead of the launch on the 29th of June.
