When it comes to our summer outfits, trust us when we say that our wardrobe takes a dramatic turn from darker-hued pieces to light items with pops of colour, that both lift our moods and suit the summer months perfectly. Whilst Y2K has been back for a while now, we're constantly looking at new (or old?) ways to remix our wardrobe to suit the trend. Lucky for us, the Three-Stripes Brand has introduced the 2000s-inspired silhouette, the adidas Astir, into our release roster, and safe to say we're obsessed.
This brand-new silhouette lends itself to the chunky trainer trend that is just as big now as it was four years ago, whilst delivering a bang up-to-date look that is constructed from recycled content. The Astir uses cutting scraps and household waste to buckle down on the environmental impact caused by creating all-new sneakers, as well as looking super chic at the same time.
Complete with an EVA midsole, not only is this sneaker really good looking, but amazingly comfortable too. Keep scrolling to take a look at how we styled some of our favourite neutral iterations of the adidas Astir, and click the links to shop the looks!

For our first outfit, we paired the adidas Astir "Wonder White/Gum" with a similarly hued tracksuit. Bringing the summer vibes, the peach-toned crop top delivers that much-needed pop of colour and really brings out the pink accents on the sneaker, too.
Let's get this straight: cycling shorts are going nowhere for summer 2022. Comfort remains to be the key to this season's styling, meaning that we'll take a pair in every colour! Coming with a matching top, we love the khaki tones of this set and can't wait to wear it to every occasion this summer.
As you've seen above, there's nothing we love more than a comfortable co-ord for those days when we need easy-to-style pieces. The light colour palette goes perfectly with the "Wonder White/Gum" adidas Astir, whilst the plissé shorts are going to be a big item to watch out for this summer.
