Article updated 24/10/23: Turns out we wouldn't have to wait long at all after the leaks for confirmation of Supreme x Stone Island's next collab. Yesterday, the duo announced it would be releasing their eighth collaboration this coming week, giving us an extended preview of what's come.
Touted as the definition of 'hit or miss' by many, this collaboration is a prime example of showing strength in selected areas. Likely acknowledging the multitude of fakes on the market, Stone Island and Supreme have finally bought back the Patch Compass logo beanie. Available in a trio of colours, each with reflective properties, these beanies will no doubt be one of the most sought-after items from the drop.
Elsewhere, a divisive trio of reversible puffer jackets appear in white, olive and black tints. Featuring subtle stitched detailing on one side and a heavy contrasting print on the other, these pieces carefully tread the line between subtle and maximalist.
Finally, a pairing of leather bomber jackets round out the highlights. Constructed from cowhide, these pieces feature tonal stitched detailing on the front and rear and the Stone Island compass logo on the arm. The only downside is this piece is rumoured to be released with a price tag of $2,500+ (over £2,000), meaning you might have to break open the piggy bank for this one.
The full Supreme x Stone Island Fall 2023 collection will land this week, on Thursday, the 26th of October, at 4 PM.
Original article: With seven collaborations under their belt already, Supreme x Stone Island continues to have the streetwear scene in a chokehold, and it’s now rumoured that the duo is getting ready to drop its next collection. After releasing its most recent joint project back in Spring 2022, fans have been eagerly waiting to see what this year will bring, and thanks to notorious Instagram leakers dropsbyjay and le.syndrome, we might just be getting our first look at the upcoming pieces.
Hinting that a spider web motif will play a part in the upcoming capsule, dropsbyjay posted that jackets, tops, pants, sweats and hoodies will all play a part in the collection, and this was backed up by images posted by le.syndrome. The spider web detailing looks to pattern one of the tees and a cap, while other pieces feature cursive co-branding hits. A couple of winter-ready pieces are also included in the mix, from over shirts to cardigans to a leather bomber jacket.
As it stands, neither Stone Island nor Supreme has confirmed the upcoming collab, but the streets are speculating that more info will surface over the coming days. In the meantime, Stone Island has readied its AW’023’024 collection.
