If you’re a regular in the sneaker world then we’re pretty sure you’ve already heard of Nike’s Move to Zero campaign, which promotes sustainable manufacturing and is a step towards zero waste production. As the programme’s latest venture, the Nike Air Zoom Alphafly “Next Nature” is set to release, and it’s a pair of race day sneakers that make a difference. Designed to be worn specifically on race days for smashing personal bests, these are the ideal sneakers for an environmentally-conscious runner.
Crafted from 50% recycled content, the pair still provide the same epic performance as the Nike Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT%, the Swoosh brand’s current flagship running silhouette. They show off a neat multi-colour look that’s accentuated with pops of pink as well as a unique take on the legendary Swoosh logo.
The uppers are crafted from Nike Flyprint fabric, a 3D printed material that’s made of 20% recycled TPU and 45% recycled Flyknit material. A PEBA ZoomX sock liner is also recycled and keeps these firmly on feet, along with a 70% recycled foam midsole that contains Air Zoom pods. To top things off, 50% recycled carbon fibre Flyplate ensures that these are as sturdy as they should be when tackling those epic long distance runs.
If you’re looking to get your hands on the Nike Air Zoom Alphafly “Next Nature” then you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled as no official release date has been announced just yet. Keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest and more and while you’re here, be sure to check out the best Nike shoes for every runner!
