Swarovski Crystals Grace The Nike Air Max 97 'Metallic Gold'

Last year, Nike brought back the legendary Air Max 97 on it's 20th anniversary, and with this revival, came a bunch of ultra high heat collabs from the likes of Skepta and Virgil Abloh. To many, the AM97 is one of the best sneakers of recent memory, and now, we're taking a look at a colourway that's not for the faint hearted.

Unveiled by @avanope, this Air Max 97 is covered in 50,000 Swarovski crystals. Fashioned from leather and mesh, this gold sneaker sits atop an Air-infused white midsole for additional comfort and a smoother stride. Contrasting elements on the shoe come in the form of red accents on the tongue, midfoot Swooshes, and heel tab.
