British fashion designer Kim Jones debuted his summer 2019 collection for Dior and we're already in love. While the collection is officially under Dior Homme – the men's side – when it comes to shoes and accessories like these, there are no gender boundaries.
Sneakerheads and fashionistas are going to love the pretty pastels and floral details that adorn pieces in the collection, which takes inspiration from Dior's haute couture roots, as well as contemporary sportswear.
The whole collection is dreamy, however there are 2 sneaker silhouettes that have caught our eye. The Flowers Technical Canvas "B23"; Sneaker and The Flowers Technical Canvas "B23"; High Top Sneaker.
Both trainers show sparse graphic floral prints all over ta neutral-coloured upper, which are giving us spring feels. It also looks like there's a translucent top layer to the upper, which gives the floral patterns a blurry, fogged up look. If you're a fan of the translucent nature of the Nike React Element 87 silhouette, these could be your high-end alternative.
Underfoot, both sneakers show a white midsole, textured toe bumper and smooth toe cap that we can't help but liken to Converse – which isn't surprising since the collection takes inspiration from sportswear brands. We can also see Dior's branded patches have been placed on the side of the sole and a contrasting cut-out section of the midsole.
These are a super premium shoe, crafted from the best materials, so they'll be worth the investment. When styling, we'd say keep it minimal to show off the sneakers. Wear them with ankle grazing jeans and keep the colour palette light and fresh if you're going to be rocking these this spring.
