Virgil Abloh definitely has the Midas touch because whatever he touches turns to solid gold. Whether it's the Air Jordan 1 or the Air VaporMax, the American fashion designer has taken on some of the most iconic silhouettes to come from Beaverton, and now, it looks he'll be working on another one as we take a sneak peek at the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid "White"!
The Sole Supplier actually reported on this OW Air Force 1 back in September but this is the first time we're taking an actual look at the sneaker in question. While it might not be for everyone, the "White" ticks all the boxes for us. From its Flyknit upper to the ripstop ankle, everything about this collab screams deconstruction at its finest. Technical verbiage is printed on the sidewalls where you'll also find a "True White" Nike Swoosh.
Of course, we can't talk about this Off-White project without mentioning the dual lacing system that's inspired by Abloh's take on the Dunk, as well as the spiky Air midsole underfoot that harkens back to the Off-White x Nike Air Zoom Tempo NEXT% from earlier this year. One of the most underrated pairs from 2021, we're so glad that this unique design is making a comeback.
Well, what else do we know? We know that the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid "White" will be dropping sometime in Spring 2022 and will be accompanied by a "Black" pair. We also know that it'll be priced at £165. What do you think of the next Off-White x Nike project? Will you be adding these to your rotation next year? Let us know, and in related news, gleaming gold details decorate this latest luxe Air Force 1!
