While the third generation 700 certainly hasn't been as hyped as the V1 and V2, it looks like things are about to change. Following the release of the "Mono Safflower" last month, we're now taking our very first sneak peek of the Yeezy 700 V3 "Fade Carbon", and to be quite honest, we think this might just be the best V3 yet. Yep, we said it.
Following the same formula as the "Copper Fade", the first thing that you'll notice about the "Fade Carbon" is the bold gradient that graces the RPU cage and knit upper. Dramatically transforming from a bolt violet at the front to a vibrant magenta around the back, there's nothing else quite like this out there. Elsewhere, the sockliner and tongue have been left in black, while Ye's signature infinite lacing system makes a triumphant comeback here.
The toebox boasts a U-shaped panel that harkens back to the first two versions of the 700, and down below, a crisp white EVA midsole is present for an insane amount of comfort with every step. Unlike the highly-sculpted adidas Boost units of its predecessors, this one bears more of a resemblance to other Yeezy models like the 380 and the QNTM.
According to our sources, the adidas Yeezy 700 V3 "Fade Carbon" is pencilled in for a May 21st release, just in time for the summer. Expected to land via adidas CONFIRMED and select retailers, make sure you smash the "Notify me" button to keep up-to-date. Let us know if you'll be grabbing these next month, and in related news, the Yeezy Boost 700 V2 "Vanta" is getting a restock!
