Recently released at selected retailers, the Nike Blazer Mid '77 Popcorn has been insanely popular. Dressed with crisp-white, tumbled leather across the majority of the upper, only intercepted by a vintage-looking 'Sail' Swoosh and a buttery midsole, it's clear to see why. Totally appropriate considering the cinema-inspired theme!
What's even more exciting, however, is that now we get to take a look at the Nike Air Force 1 Low 'Popcorn', which takes the same inspiration as the Blazer Mid and dresses the iconic AF-1 silhouette with vintage tones and accents that nod to everyone's favourite film snack.
As well as playing on the fun popcorn theme, both pairs nod to the years of their conception. 'Fresh Since 77' adorns the Blazer, whilst 'Fresh Since 82' takes pride of place in metallic, gold lettering on the back of the Air Force 1's lateral sidewall. These gold accents pop against the coconut-milk and white construction, whilst a red, cartoon-like font makes up the Nike branding on the heel of both the popcorn Air Force 1 and Nike Blazer.
Matching up to this, on both sneakers you can find a red and white, striped label sewn into the tops of the tongues housing the Nike branding and Swoosh icon. The Forces come equipped with perforations dotted across the toe box and sidewalls, as usual, whilst the Blazer's can be found on the sidewalls only.
Both tied up with a 'Sail' lace unit, these two Nike trainers are the ones to add to your collection this spring. If you want to get your hands on the Nike Air Force 1 Premium Popcorn and/or the Nike Blazer Mid 77 Vintage Popcorn, use the links on this page to cop!
