Take A Closer Look At Nike's Snow Day-Inspired Air Monarch

As the OG of the chunky sneaker trend, Nike's Air Monarch has transitioned from being the favourite of fathers, to a fashionista's staple.

Decorated in layered white leather and built with a super stacked midsole, the Monarch went on to influence the style of Nike's M2K Tekno, which gained 'it' shoe status this year.

So it's only natural that the dad shoe has been treated to a wintry makeover.

In this release, the Monarch is inspired by a gloriously festive "Snow Day";, which is represented by an icy translucent outsole and a shimmering chrome Swoosh.

The Air Monarch logo is complete with a chilly thawing effect, as silver snow embroidery drips down the leather.

An adorably cosy touch has also been added to the collar, which is adorned in a white sherpa fabric, while bright orange AIR branding stands out on the wavy midsole, reminiscent of a snowman's carrot nose.

The Nike Air Monarch IV "Snow Day"; is expected to release on December 20th, just in time for Christmas!
