Last week, adidas finally confirmed a collaboration with Dragon Ball Z following months of rumours and speculation. Whilst many fans will already be familiar with the cartoon mock-ups, this latest leak gives a detailed look at two styles from the collection.
The Dragon Ball Z x adidas Kamanda arrives as a homage to Majin Buu. Who knew this pink and squishy ogre could provide the inspiration for a such a striking shoe?!
Decked out in premium suede, this exclusive trainer sports the same shade of pink as Buu's globulus body. The spiralling midsole features in black whilst an iconic Dragon Ball Z symbol features to the heel.
The Dragon Ball Z x adidas Yung 1 honours super villain and once emperor of the universe, Frieza. Whether or not you're a fan of the TV show, you've got to appreciate these totally off-the-wall colourways.
As with all others in the collection, the theme corresponds with the character. In this case, the purple and white skeletal suit of Frieza provides a fitting colourway for the chunky Yung 1.
Each of the seven styles in the collection will release across September to December, arriving in a DBZ branded box. An exclusive figurine will also be included.
