We know that feeling of getting a new pair of kicks and wanting to grab a great photograph all too well, it’s half the fun of picking up a new release! Here at The Sole Supplier we reached out to our sneakerhead community for the first time ever last week, asking for submissions of your favourite footwear photos, and the response was phenomenal! Back for round two, here’s our top ten sneaker photos from this week!
Let’s begin with one of our favourite pairs of all time! @shotbycallumwaine shows off his pair of Travis Scott Air Jordan 1’s above with this incredible shot that has got us feeling all kinds of ways! We’re wondering how many attempts it took to get this right?!
Next up, @j.a.m.e.s.9.7 takes us all the way back to 2016 with the Nike Air Max 97 “Brazil Rio”. These were a real hit upon the initial release and are now harder than you’d imagine to track down, with James’ pair looking like an exceptionally clean example.
For our first three-stripe submission this week, @footwearhutt shows off his extensive triple black Yeezy collection. We don’t even want to imagine how long it took to set this photo up! Our personal favourite featured here has to be the Vanta’s - what a solid everyday pair!
Community member @timeasley treats us with a look into his extensive archive of sneakers here, and there’s some absolute gems pictured! Under-appreciated pairs such as Pendleton Air Max 1’s, Olivia Kim Footscape’s and Patta AM90/95’s are complemented by high-heaters like the Off-White VaporMax and Atmos Air Max 1’s. Great collection, Tim!
Another limited-edition pair of Air Jordan 1’s has cropped up on our list this week in the shape of the Off-White AJ1 UNC’s! An incredible pair that is worn by @jbean1994 perfectly here. These are most definitely on our want to buy list!
It’s the perfect time to get creative with your sneaker photos while we’re in lockdown, and @paulsaich has done just that, creating this epic Yeezy wall! Topped off with a couple of BE@RBRICK’s and a Virgil Abloh x IKEA rug, Paul has got us covered when it comes to all things hype.
2020 is the year of the Dunk, and @tylerstanger is not holding back, showing off not just one but three pairs of the elusive Stussy x Nike Dunk Low from 2005! With a collective resale value of over £6000, there’s a lot of hypothetical cash pictured here!
It’s double-trouble Dunk time, as @lewearle shows off his latest cops. The Ben and Jerry’s “Chunky Dunky” and the Travis Scott Nike SB Dunk Low are two of the most hyped drops this year, so it’s safe to say we’re pretty envious!
Another Yeezy graces this week’s list - the Yeezy 700 V2 “Static”, and what a clean pair it is! Community member @peter_coyne has absolutely killed it with this shot, and the Static’s don’t even need dressing up - a pair of grey sweatpants does the job.
We start and finish with Travis Scott this week, as @jackballard15 dons the Air Jordan 1 Low TS in this neat on-foot shot. It’s looking like he’s yellowed the soles here for an intentional vintage look, and it complements the pink laces effortlessly well! Nice one Jack!
That rounds off our top ten sneaker shots from our Facebook community this week, but make sure to keep your eyes peeled for the next engagement post, as you too could be featured right here on The Sole Supplier website and across our social channels!
