Following the high heat madness that was June, the sneaker game slowed down just a little bit this month as it prepares for another new season of hype. While there were no Yeezy or Off-White x Nike releases in July 2019, we did get a ton of amazing collabs from the likes of Pharrell Williams and Travis Scott, as well as some absolutely fire general releases that will definitely ignite your collection. With that said, we’ve carefully handpicked some of July’s most desirable drops that you need in your sneaker rotation right now! If you missed out on any of these, make sure you follow @thesolerestocks on Twitter for the latest and greatest trainer restocks! Image via END. Clothing Nike Air Max 270 React ‘Bauhaus’ The Nike Air Max 270 React ‘Bauhaus’ launched on July 3rd to critical acclaim. As its name states, it’s inspired by the 20th century art movement that paved the way for developments in architecture, graphic design, interior design, and many more fields of creativity. Fusing the wildly popular AM270 lifestyle silhouette with React foam cushioning, it’s literally the best of both worlds. Image via END. Clothing adidas London ‘Scarlet’ When the adidas London ‘Scarlet’ dropped on July 5th, the sneaker community was split in two: one half were disgusted by the retro release, while the other half were bathing in nostalgia, remembering the days when the ’70s football terrace favourite first released as part of the iconic ‘City Series’ collection. Crafted from some of the most premium materials, this is definitely one for the collection. Image via 43einhalb Stranger Things x Nike Air Tailwind 79 ‘White’ It was so hard to choose a favourite from the coveted Stranger Things x Nike collection, but we think the Stranger Things x Nike Air Tailwind 79 is the right choice. Launched on July 12th, the retro trainer is chock full of references from the hit Netflix show. Painted in a patriotic red, white, and blue colour scheme to coincide with the latest season’s Independence Day setting, these sold out like hot cakes. Image via atmos Nike Air Max 1 ‘Sketch To Shelf’ One day later on July 13th, we were treated to one of the hottest AM1s ever in the form of the Nike Air Max 1 ‘Sketch To Shelf’. A one-to-one remake of Tinker Hatfield’s original sketch from 1987, it’s like someone popped his doodle into a 3D printer and printed a pair out. Painted in the iconic ‘University Red’ colour scheme that made its debut back in the ’80s, this is a shoe that every sneakerhead should definitely have in their collection. Image via asphaltgold Fear Of God x Nike Air Skylon II ‘Light Bone’ Jerry Lorenzo returned to the Air Skylon II on July 18th with the ultra clean Fear Of God x Nike Air Skylon II ‘Light Bone’! Serving as his third collaborative colourway, the shoe is crafted from a premium combination of materials, and features a toggle lacing system for those who want to get the perfect fit while on the move. Of course, this can be switched out for something more traditional if you’re that way inclined. Image via END. Clothing Pharrell Williams x adidas Solar Hu Glide ‘Triple Black’ Does it get any stealthier than the Pharrell Williams x adidas Solar Hu Glide ‘Triple Black’? Probably not. Hitting shelves on July 19th, this shoe released alongside three other ultra clean colourways, but we chose this one simply to prove that you can still rock all black sneakers over summer. Featuring the Three Stripes’ Energy Rail tech for stability and support, a full length Boost midsole makes these as comfy as it gets. Image via hanzuying Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Cactus Jack’ La Flame changed the sneaker game once again when he released the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Cactus Jack’ on July 20th. A surprise drop, literally no one was expecting these to launch so soon. Painted in his signature brown and black colour scheme, a large white reverse Swoosh shoots across the laterals for a look that’s sure to turn heads for many years to come. Image via END. Clothing Nike Air Max 90 ‘Viotech 2.0’ Not only did the Swoosh drop one of the best AM1s of the year this month, they did the same thing with the AM90 on July 25th with the Nike Air Max 90 ‘Viotech 2.0’. Inspired by the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Viotech’ that launched exclusively in Japan back in 2002, this highly sought after trainer takes colour blocking to a whole other level, with blue, green, pink, yellow, and white panels all decked out in buttery smooth suede. July 27th saw the release of the hotly anticipated Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low ‘White’. Leaked earlier this year, the sneaker is painted in a clean white hue with the Dutch artist’s signature pink, red, and blue touches appearing throughout. The star of the show is, without a doubt, the series of stacked Swooshes that are finished in chenille for added depth. Image via Nike PSG x Air Jordan 6 ‘Iron Grey’ To round it all off, we have the PSG x Air Jordan 6 ‘Iron Grey’ that finally launched on July 27th. Made in collaboration with French professional football team Paris Saint-Germain, this AJ6 features a ton of amazing details including ‘Infrared‘ lace locks, “PANAME” branding, as well the phrase “Ici Est Paris” printed on the insoles which literally means “This Is Paris“.
