Let's face it, any fond memories we have looking back on 2020 will most likely centre around the many big sneaker releases. Whilst a global pandemic put a hold on everyone's day to day there was still something we could all rely on; a weekly dose of hyped sneakers! There's been no shortage so far with everything from Off-Whites to Travis Scotts. At the same time, certain iconic silhouettes have enjoyed a major revival, take for example the Nike SB Dunk!

No doubt you've caught many Ls this year but there is one Twitter account that's making it easier than ever to cop. The Sole Restocks alerts you to all the biggest releases and, you guessed, it any major restocks too. If you're not already following then, you've got to ask yourself - are you even a sneakerhead?!

In this guide, we look back on the 15 most hyped launches of 2020 so far, those that caused the biggest stir across Twitter! The question is, how many did manage to cop?

Travis Scott's merch website was host to a shock drop of his latest Nike collaboration, the Cactus Jack SB Dunk. The Sole Restocks had you covered with that release as well as the subsequent UK launch via Nike SNKRS.

Over 5 million sneakerheads entered raffles for the Dior x Jordan 1! Many were clearly trying to cash in on the hype. After all, both pairs from the collection are reselling for well over £10,000! The coveted collection was joined by co-branded apparel but even these pieces were just as elusive.

There's not much to dislike about this Yeezy 350. It's the simple colour scheme which made them so popular and they weren't too difficult to cop. These launched via adidas and other major UK stockists back in February.

It's hard to decide which has been the most sought-after Jordan 1 High of 2020; it's got to be this style or the "Court Purple".

More than 20 restocks are posted on average each week via The Sole Restocks and sometimes that includes styles as rare as the Yeezy 350s. Take for example, this restock at adidas from earlier in the year. Sneakerheads had the chance to cop best-sellers including the "Sesame" and "Triple Black" colourways.

First released in 2006, the Jordan 4 "Black Cat" is considered one of the best Jumpmans to ever launch. Thankfully, Nike chose to re-release this model in an almost identical construct to the OG. These launched across several leading retailers but as you'd expect, they didn't sit for long.

Combine this year's most popular silhouette - the Nike Air Force 1 - with a brand responsible for defining hype culture and you've got a winning formula. The Supreme x AF1 was surprisingly low-key but many of you were loving the simplicity on those all white uppers. It was complimented nicely with a subtle box logo.

Inspired by everyone's favourite ice-cream, this Nike SB Dunk looks more like a custom sneaker than official collaboration. But it's that unique aesthetic that garnered so much attention and has made these a serious resell commodity!

This stealthy high-top was about as limited as it gets. Not many of you copped which would explain why the Nike Fear Of God 1 resells for over £400! The challenge of copping was made even more stressful given these only launched via Nike SNRKS.

This unique Air Max 270 React shows that Travis Scott can't put a foot wrong. Sure, there was plenty of controversy surrounding this muddy colourway but it didn't stop re-sellers and collectors battling it out on the morning of release.

Exclusive access for this Jordan 1 was unlocked for certain members of the Nike app!

It seems we're still just as obsessed with Off-White's deconstructed take on iconic Nike footwear. You only need to look back to this year's Jordan 5 release. We're guessing a lot of you are still feeling salty about that one.

It's been another busy year for Kanye West as several new additions joined his growing Yeezy line-up. That includes the Yeezy 700 V3 which was quick to sellout in this triple black colourway.

It's no secret that Nike's SB Dunk is amongst this year's most influential sneakers. There's been major collabs, such as the Strangelove and Travis Scott, but even general releases have been quick to sellout. One of the best of these GRs has to be the "Laser Orange"!

Coming soon, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Zyon" is the one pair featured that you've still got chance to cop. These launch this weekend across several retailers! Be sure to follow @thesolerestocks for links to any and all retailers as well as alerts on the inevitable restocks in the days afterwards!
