Nike are about to reprise an ultra rare collaboration which released 12 years ago. The PlayStation x Nike Air Force 1 Low launched in the same year as the PS3 and was limited to only 150 pairs, gifted to Sony employees and competition winners.
Rumours surfaced earlier this year of a re-release for that colourway but it would seem that an entirely new design is coming. The 2018 Playstation x Nike Air Force 1 Low just got unveiled at the basketball event, Drew League.
There are slight similarities to the original in that patent leather makes an appearance at the heel. However, the look is slightly more understated with a blacked-out theme throughout.
It's the jewel Swoosh which makes the shoe so interesting, as well as the classic PlayStation controller symbols which are stamped to the heel. An icy outsole also features underfoot.
There's no official word from Nike or Playstation but this collaboration is rumoured to launch on June 11th, before the E3 conference which takes place in L.A.
