It seems the Nike Air Max 98 isn’t the only retro trainer to enjoy a revival in 2018. These recently leaked images show the Nike Air Max Deluxe – a long forgotten trainer that released in 1999.
Borrowing a full length Air Unit from the Air Max 97, the Deluxe is characterised by a neoprene crafted upper which features a unique textured effect alongside robust support in the form of a rubber heel counter.
Following its debut launch, several styles released but it wasn’t long before Nike archived the design. If the rumours are true and these were to launch in 2018, it would be the first ever re-release.
There are currently no release details for the Nike Air Max Deluxe. Could they be going live alongside that impressive Air Max Day collection?
Stay tuned for more updates and take a look at some of the OG colourways which arrived in 1999 below.
