The A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 3 "White" Has Been Delayed for a Good Reason

We first caught a glimpse of the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 3 "White" back in February, and as soon as we set our eyes on it we knew straight away that it was going to be a must-have. If you felt the same way, unfortunately you're going to have to wait a little longer as they've just been delayed for a very good reason.

One of the most premium AJ3s in existence, the "White" is made in collaboration with James Whitner's Atlanta-based boutique. Draped in luxurious tumbled leather throughout, buttery soft beige suede accents hit the back, toebox, and lacing system, while clean cream tones grace the eyelets and heel badge - where you'll also find the classic Nike Air emblem.

Co-branded detailing is loudly and proudly presented on the tongues, and rounding off this special edition Air Jordan 3 is a quilted inner lining that's dressed in a satin sheen, finalising the design.

According to the brand's official Instagram, the hotly anticipated launch has been pushed forward due to the aftermath of the verdict in the George Floyd trial. In a statement, owner James Whitner stated, "This day and this moment cannot be overshadowed by sneakers. We must take the time to take stock of what this moment means for Black people and what we must demand from our criminal and justice system. As we say justice served, more lives are lost. A 15-year old Black girl lost her life yesterday as the verdict was announced. It’s a constant empty feeling for us, our reality is never easy. We need this time to come together and look after one another, nothing is bigger than our community right now."
