The adidas NMD R1 "Pride" Celebrates Pride Month with a Rainbow Sole

As June’s Pride Month approaches, adidas is celebrating early with the unveiling of the adidas NMD R1 “Pride”. Inspired by the iconic Pride flag, this statement sneaker utilised key colours and inspiring messaging to deliver a show that does all the talking.

With all the key features of the original NMD R1, this adidas sneaker utilises key fabrics, exclusive technology and functional details to create a sneaker that covers every base. The upper is crafted from flexible knit fabric and the brand’s three-stripe logo is added to the side with an extra stripe emblazoned with a “Love Unites” slogan. That same slogan features on the laces and the aglets are rounded off with rainbow stripes. Where this sneaker really comes to life is the midsole. Finished with the colours of the Pride flag, it’s fitted with Boost cushioning that supports your foot where you need it most.
