The adidas Originals x BAPE Stan Smith Delivers a Japanese Streetwear Take on an Icon

Having been collaborative partners for just over 20 years now, adidas and BAPE know a thing or two about bringing out the best in each other. In continuation of their relationship, the duo has readied a pairing of fresh renditions of the iconic Stan Smith silhouette, each equipped with that distinctive BAPE touch.

In celebration of the Japanese streetwear brand’s 30th anniversary, the duo has taken the adidas Stan Smith silhouette as know it and reinvented the silhouette through BAPE's lens. Included, we see two contrasting black and white colourways, both with a myriad of details.

Atop a synthetic leather upper made with 60% recycled materials with a tonal debossed and embossed SOLID CAMO pattern found all over. Looking at the heel panel, this same camo theme continues as an ABC CAMO appears in woodland hues. Gold detailing finishes off this shoe, as Stan Smith's face is swapped for the A Bathing Ape logo atop the tongue. In addition, gold foil is featured on the side, as well as a "30" lace dubrae in celebration of the anniversary.
