Even though ZX is almost four decades old, it remains as one of the most innovative sneaker technologies in history, and for 2020, the Three Stripes will be combining the past with the present for the brand new adidas ZX 2K Boost. The latest and greatest silhouette to come from Herzogenaurach, here's everything that you need to know.
Making its grand debut in three ultra unique colourways, the aptly named ZX 2K Boost features an engineered mesh upper with a trail shoe-like lacing system, resulting in a rugged aesthetic that is sure to turn heads. A rubber badge and pull tab combo makes its way to the heel, kind of like the NMD R1, while Three Stripe branding glides across the lateral and medial side panels.
Of course, we're all here for one reason and it's the brand new hybrid midsole that has got everyone talking. While Nike has already done this before with models such as the Air Force 1 React and the Air Max 270 React, this is the first time that the German giant has achieved such a feat, and it's beyond exciting to say the least.
Set to launch globally on July 31st, the adidas ZX 2K Boost should not be missed, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops! In related news, the adidas X9000L4 is the future of Boost!
