The Nike Air Force 1 PLT.AF.ORM Gets a "Pastel Leopard" Update

Like florals, pastels for spring aren’t exactly groundbreaking, but that doesn’t mean we’re complaining – especially when it comes to this pair. Arriving in time for the sunny months ahead, this AF1 combines pastels, leopard print and a platform sole for the ultimate summer sneaker, so let’s take a closer look at the Air Force 1 PLT.AF.ORM “Pastel Leopard.”

Following on from the similar themed Air Max 90, the “Pastel Leopard” AF1 PLT.AF.ORM starts with a cream and white coloured base and sees pops of pastel and patterns decorate the upper. Leopard print appears in both pink and green – the former dressing the eyestays, and the latter appearing on the heel. Blue suede dresses an oversized Nike Swoosh overlay, whereas a cream cut-out Swoosh can be spotted just behind.

Underfoot, a platform sole give the PLT.AF.ORM Air Force its name, but a spliced and stacked detail lends the pastel pair a bit of an edge. The midsole is a bright white colour, whilst the outsole matches the upper in a creamy hue. Finally, the “Pastel Leopard” PLT.AF.ORM’s tongue arrives in a textured cross-hatch fabric for an extra point of detail.

A release date for the “Pastel Leopard” Nike Air Force 1 PLT.AF.ORM is yet to be confirmed, but the style is expected to drop sometime this spring.
