Jordan Brand’s “Craft” series is quickly becoming a fan-favourite, and rightfully so. In a scene flooded with releases and retros, the focus on producing pairs with premium materials is a breath of fresh air. Hot off the back of teasing a “Craft” Air Jordan 5, the brand returns to its roots to apply the look to the Air Jordan 1, and the result is one of the cleanest pairs we’ve seen in a while.
Previously known under the name “Vibrations of Naija”, the Air Jordan 1 “Craft” comes dressed in hues of “Sail/Pale Vanilla/Black”, and places the majority of its focus on its premium construction. Luxurious leather uppers come accented with tonal stitching, the same creamy hue extending to the sock liners and laces. The subtlety of the base contrasts neatly with the Swoosh and collar detailing, which although taking on a multicolour look, still manages to give a high-end finish. A two-tone white and cream midsole rounds things off, offering up the kind of vintage vibes that suit the Jordan 1 so well.
Look for the “Craft” Air Jordan 1 High OG to land in extended sizing early this summer, and be sure to hit those release reminders for your best chance of securing your size on the day!
Up next, Nike reveals that half its monthly SNKRS entries come from bots.
