The Air Jordan 1 High OG "Prototype" Is Basically Begging to Be Customised

The highly-anticipated Air Jordan 1 High OG “Prototype” is finally set to drop soon and here at The Sole Supplier we’re absolutely delighted with the news. The vibrant looking AJ1 was first back in Jordan Brand’s Fall 2021 lineup and we’ve since seen plenty more images of the sneaker, hyping the pair up suitably over time. If you’re a serious Air Jordan 1 fan then we’ve got absolutely no doubts about the fact you’ll be wanting to pick these up, and even if you’re brand-new to the scene these are an epic place to start!

Decked out in varying hues including grey, white and black, the pair are then accentuated with hits of blue and orange to form a neat colourway. Better yet, the most interesting part of the design here are the perforations around the collar, inviting you to go at these with scissors or a knife to transform them into a low top! While we’re not sure this is a great idea for everyone, many will definitely be heading down this route.

They’re crafted from premium leather all across the uppers and feature classic AJ1 branding in the form of the wings logo on the collar and Nike Air embroidered on the tongue. The Swoosh logo also features on both sides, as well as perforations at the toe box and plenty of padding around the ankle, reminding us that many decades ago these were actually performance basketball sneakers!

A clean white midsole finishes off the look, complete with Nike Air technology underfoot.
