We're not sure what's in the water over at Nike HQ, but it seems the Swoosh brand's quest for innovation is starting to take some interesting turns. With the current Mule trend gripping the collective footwear scene, Nike/Jordan Brand is now set to join in on the fun with its very own take on the Air Jordan 1 Low Golf.
Truth be told, we're not exactly sure why on earth you would wear a pair of Mules for golf, but maybe Nike knows something we don't. Regardless, this latest pair looks to join the likes of Travis Scott in Nike's ever-growing attempt to make golf footwear cool.
Just as the name suggests, this silhouette is essentially the classic Air Jordan 1 low shape with the back ridge removed to make it into a Mule. Supplying the golf element, we see a grippy outsole underfoot and a "Golf" imprint paired with the Jumpman logo on the tongue. Dressed in a Bred colourway, this pair is nothing short of eye-catching, but it poses the question, just how maybe people are going to wear this silhouette on or off the course?
Expected to land in February; be sure to hit 'Notify me' below if you happen to be interested. Up next, the first preview of the Air Jordan 5 SE “Sail” has landed.
