Sportswear giants Nike and Jordan Brand continue to lead at the forefront of the sneaker industry through a stream of AJ releases. Michael Jordan's signature basketball trainers have remained a popular footwear option throughout the years—since its 1985 introduction, specifically. Its latest version utilises the mid-cut variation and a look that references a legendary ensemble.
What do we mean by this exactly? The Air Jordan 1 Mid "Homage" exhibits black and white tones that are colour-blocked in a split manner—the other shows more black while the opposite is flipped, showing more white. This design pulls direct inspiration from the classic Air Jordan 1 High "Homage to Home", which fused the famous "Chicago" and "Banned" colourways together.
Classic Jordan branding details are still present on this rendition, notably the Jumpman-labelled tongues and Wings motif on the collars. A full-length Air midsole with perforated toe boxes completes the OG construction of the AJ1s.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid "Homage" is also releasing alongside a low-top, so be sure to keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier to stay in the know of all the latest Nike release dates. In related news, the Air Jordan 1 Low "Vivid Green Snakeskin" looks ultra-premium!
