Jordan Brand has dabbled in tie dye before, launching a variant of the AJ1 High back in 2020 that donned blue-tinted patterning, however now the label has just unveiled the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Tie Dye”, that instead opts for a purple hue of the famous pattern. Perfect for the upcoming warmer months, the sneakers boast classic “Black Toe” colour blocking, with only the rear panels bearing the multi-coloured look.
The 1985 classic is crafted from premium leather across the uppers, with the main tones consisting of white and black. Whether you’re a hardened sneaker copping veteran or new to the game, you can’t go wrong with a pair of AJ1s as tidy as these.
Nike’s classic Swoosh logo takes pride of place on both the lateral and medial sides in black, while Jumpman and “AIR” motifs are embroidered onto the tongues in matching purple for a colour-coordinated look. Perforated toe boxes and increased ankle padding complete the upper, while underfoot the whited-out midsole conceals plenty of cushioning to ensure that these are comfortable enough for daily wear.
If you’re liking this upcoming AJ1 as much as we are, the good news is that it’s set to drop at Nike and select retailers in coming months, so make sure to keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest news and updates, and while you’re here take a look at the brand-new Dunk Low “Paisley”!
