The Air Jordan 3 has experienced a huge resurgence this year, acting as the blank canvas for plenty of high-heat collaborations and with plenty of well-loved colourways from the past getting their very own retro release. If you’re an AJ3 fan like plenty of us are here at The Sole Supplier then you’ll be rejoicing to hear the news that the silhouette will continue to ride the wave straight into 2022.

Just today we’ve received the news that the Air Jordan 3 “Dark Iris” is set to launch in 2022. Decked out in a colourway that gives us straight Court Purple vibes, the pair offer up classic colour blocking and premium materials throughout, making for a seriously clean looking sneaker.

Crafted primarily from tumbled leather, they showcase a white base layer with hits of purple and black to form a very wearable colourway. Swoosh logos are absent here as with all AJ3s (with the exception of the Tinker releases), while Jumpman logos are embroidered onto the tongue and heels in purple. Plenty of padding remains around the ankles, pointing to the performance basketball heritage of the silhouette. This all sits on top of a whited-out midsole that encases a visible Nike Air Max unit under the heel.

If you’re already eyeing up the Air Jordan 3 “Dark Iris” and want to add them to your collection then you best keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier. The pair aren’t set to drop until 2022 but we’ll be keeping you in the loop as soon as we find out more. In the meantime check out the rest of our site and take a look at these Michael Jordan game-worn sneakers that are up for auction!
