The Air Jordan 3 "Racer Blue" Is Releasing This Week

It’s been a huge year for both Jordan Brand and Nike, and now we’re getting even closer to one of the most anticipated releases of the year. The Air Jordan 3 “Racer Blue” is finally set to release at the tail end of this week and it’s safe to say that the sneaker is a certified banger! The legendary silhouette is decked out in an instant-classic of a colourway and we’re sure that this is already on a lot of sneakerhead’s cop lists!

Introduced by none other than Tinker Hatfield all the way back in 1988, the AJ3 was the silhouette that kept Michael Jordan signed with Nike, after he was initially disappointed with the AJ2. Since then the model has held cult status for years to come and we’ve seen plenty of high-heat colorways over the years.

Opting for a combination of white, black, grey and blue, the colourway looks timeless and lends itself to the AJ3 with ease. The uppers are crafted from premium leather throughout and showcase classic panelling along with Nike’s signature elephant print pattern across the mudguards. Jumpman logos are embroidered onto the tongues in blue while they also appear on the heels for another iconic touch. Plenty of padding is included which points to the performance heritage of the sneakers, along with a low-key lacing system to keep them firmly on feet.
