Do the heads at Louis Vuitton ever sleep? We're starting to think not, as the brand has now suddenly debuted its FW21 collection in a New York pop-up store residency. The announcement comes just days after linking up with K-Pop supergroup BTS for a 10 minute short that displays select pieces and looks from the collection.
The Fall/Winter collection entitled "Ebonics / Snake Oil / The Black Box / Mirror, Mirror" first appeared on the runway back in January. Since then the collection has received a huge amount of praise online and has left high-fashion fans around the world eagerly anticipating the launch.
The shopping space itself is Virgil Abloh designed and features primarily red and orange hues that make way rainbow-like shades of green and yellow. Alongside this, an array of mannequins surround the perimeter of the floor all posed with human-like posture.
Selected ready-to-wear garments, leather goods and accessories sit atop minimalist style plinths and displays that occupy both the walls and centre of the floor. The store has been available to view since July 9th and is located at 104 Prince Street, New York, NY 10012. In other news, Stussy's new Shibuya store takes Californian surf spirit to the streets of Tokyo.
