The Air Jordan 6 "Carmine" From 1991 is Making a Comeback
Next year marks the 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan 6, and to celebrate this massive milestone, Nike will be bringing back what is arguably one of the most iconic colourways ever made - the Air Jordan 6 "Carmine". To say that we're beyond hyped is an understatement.
A shoe that made its on-court debut back in 1991, they re-released in 2008 as part of the "Countdown" Pack and then again in 2014, so Jumpman fans definitely aren't strangers to this one. Featuring a premium leather and suede construction, the "Carmine" is contrasted with white and red hues, resulting in an ultra luxurious aesthetic that is sure to turn heads.
A satin Jumpman tag runs through the lacing system, while rubberised elements make their way to the tongue and heel tab, introducing a touch of ruggedness to the versatile silhouette. Rounding it all off is an icy blue Air sole unit, finalising the retro look that we all know and love.
Set to be a one-to-one take of the '91 OG complete with the "Nike Air" branding, the Nike Air Jordan 6 "Carmine" will be re-releasing on February 13th - just one day before Valentine's Day. If you want a pair make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier, and in related news, only 12,000 pairs of the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 High "Chicago" will be made!
